Mission
Statement
The Center provides services to support,
inform and connect the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender
communities
through programs of information and education, health and
well-being, cultural and social activities, and social
justice. We advocate for the inclusion of all individuals
into a free and just community, without judgment or restriction
due to sexual orientation or gender expression. Four Core
Service Areas
Information and Education
- Community help desk for referrals
- Housing and roommate postings, job postings and employment
assistance,
- LGBT library, educational workshops, speaker's bureau, community
calendar
- CyberCenter providing eight state of the art computers for
community use
- Training in computer use
- Financial Planning workshops
Health and Well Being
- Mental health services (counseling and referrals)
- Seminars for Awareness, Growth & Education (SAGE)
- Women’s Health
- Breast Cancer Screenings
- Smoking Cessation
- Men’s Health
- HIV

- “Coming out" support

- Mentoring Youth Through Empowerment (MYTE Youth)
