Richard Lewis, Jr., MBA, recently joined The Center of Greater Long Beach as its finance manager. He is responsible for the daily accounting and financial operations that ensure the financial integrity of The Center. He works closely with the Chief Financial Officer to plan and shape the financial future of The Center and implement strategies to achieve these goals. He is also responsible for The Center's human resource and information technology departments.

Prior to joining the Center, Richard was Vice President of Administration at a large construction firm where he was responsible for a $25 million annual operating budget. He was also part of the opening team for Disneyland Paris in France .

Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French with a minor in Political Science from Lewis & Clark College , Portland , Oregon , and an MBA from Pepperdine University , Malibu , California .

Richard is also a member of the Long Beach Memorial Medical Center Board of Trustees.

Anna joined the Center in July of 2005. Some of her major accomplishments at The Center Long Beach include developing and implementing the S.A.G.E. seminar series (Seminars for Awareness, Growth & Enhancement) which brings together local LGBT mental health professionals to educate and inform the LGBT community on various issues. Anna has also spearheaded the comeback of a transgender support group at The Center, secured free bi-yearly mammogram screenings, and free periodic STD and HIV testing.

The Director of Programs is responsible for managing and directing all client-based services programs provided by The Center Long Beach, including HIV testing and counseling programs.

Anna has 10 years of experience in diverse community services programs. She acts as one of the main contacts for programs, services and mental health referrals at The Center. Anna holds a Master's degree in Psychotherapy as well as a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology.  She is a registered Marital and Family Therapist Intern as well as a member of the California Association of Marital and Family Therapists and the Long Beach HIV Planning Commission.

Richard Morley has joined the management team of The Center as the Director of Development. Richard was on the Board of Directors for The Center in 1987 and co-wrote the first grant for HIV education that the Center received in 1985. He has a proven track record of non-profit work and significant success in raising money for community development agencies.

Ms. Serena Turley has joined The Center Long Beach as the Community Outreach Coordinator. Serena recently received her Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies from Arizona State University . While at ASU, she was co-president of the Women's Student Coalition and served as a student liaison to the President's Commission on the Status of Women.  Serena is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Human Communication Studies at California State University , Fullerton .  Her thesis research is focused on family communication and conflict resolution within LGBT families.

Roger Perez has a long management work history throughout his thirty five years of working in Southern California. He has worked as various types of managers within the retail industry including the former Broadway stores and the Robinsons May Corporation. He was also in management for five years with Bank of America. Roger is the former President of the Silverlake Community Council and was a Board of Director for the same council from 1990 until 1999.
