Downtown Long Beach Associates (DLBA)
For the fourth consecutive year The Pink Party donated a portion of its profits to the Center’s Youth Program. This year the event raised a little more than $2,300 for the MYTE Program. Interval House
Interval House recently renewed their long time support for The Center, Long Beach with a donation of $10,000. Together Interval House and The Center collaborate to offer assistance to LGBTQ victims of domestic violence. The Center also hosts Healthy Relationship discussion groups, lead by Interval House staff, for LGBTQ clients weekly. Union Bank
The Union Bank Foundation has awarded a $5,000 grant to The Gay and Lesbian Center of Greater Long Beach (The Center) to support the agency’s youth mentoring program knows as MYTE, (Mentoring Youth Through Empowerment). JetBlue
The Center, Long Beach was the beneficiary of Jet Blue’s JetPride flight from San Francisco to Long Beach on May 14, 2010 for Long Beach Gay Pride. The rainbow-powered flight featured hilarious comedian, Pam Ann, serving as the flight's honorary purser. The flight featured pink cocktails, gift bags, and other goodies. The flight number was designated #1969 which commemorates the 1969 Stonewall Riots and the birth of the Gay Pride movement. Thank you Jet Blue for your support!
 
Entertainment AIDS Alliance
The Entertainment AIDS Alliance has renewed their support of The Center, Long Beach with a $5,000 grant. EAA is a volunteer group of entertainment industry professionals which was formed in 1989 to respond to the urgent need for funding AIDS service organizations nationwide. Over ninety percent of funds raised are distributed to qualifying AIDS healthcare organizations and facilities.
