It is the mission of The Gay and Lesbian Center of Greater Long Beach to provide services to support, inform and connect the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities through programs of information and education, physical and mental well-being, cultural and social activities, and social justice resources. The Center Long Beach recognizes that it could not provide services without the support and generosity of our donors and benefactors. You can make a difference today by becoming a Center member, a sustaining donor or joining our Benefactor Circle.

For as little as $35.00 individuals can become center members and receive a membership card that will entitle you to specials and discounts form local businesses, as well as invitations to The Center's special events. Businesses can sign our business partner agreement, and agree to give our members a discount or other service.

Volunteers Needed
Please contact our Operations Manager, Reyna Velarde, if you are interested in volunteering for The Center in 2006. We are seeking professional and courteous people to work at our front Community Help Desk and answer questions and help as our clients and constituents visit The Center. We are also seeking volunteers that are interested in helping with our LGBT library, our new website, upcoming fun events and fundraisers, and mentoring our LGBT youth.
