Long Beach Transit Takes Best in Show in Doghouse Decorating Contest
Staff of Long Beach Transit participated in Long Beach Convention & Visitor Bureaus 2nd Annual Dog House Decorating Contest, creating a custom dog house to compete. First place winnings of $3,500 will be donated to Long Beach City College Foundation: Long Beach College Promise, benefiting student scholarships and The Center Long Beach.

HIV & STI TESTING DATES
HIV & STI (Sexually Transmitted Infections) are provided in collaboration with Califoria State University, Long Beach (CSULB) Center of Behavioral Research and Services (CBRS) on site once a week with 6 appointments available per visit.

The Center Long Beach offers HIV rapid testing on site from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Due to city furloughs, there will be no HIV testing on the last Friday of each month.
As of January 2010, The Long beach City Health Department will not be offering testing on site.
