- The Life Group LA - Because it's your life The Life Group LA is a coalition of people dedicated to the education, empowerment and emotional support of persons both infected and affected by HIV/AIDS so that they may make informed choices and decisions regarding their healthcare and personal well being.
- The Beacon House of San Pedro - founded in 1974 as a private non-profit California corporation, with the purpose of providing a peer-oriented, residential recovery program for men whose lives had become unmanageable due to alcoholism or addiction.
- Haven Health and Hospice: Haven Health specializes in hospice care for patients who elect not to seek aggressive treatment, as well as home health care for those recovering from injury or illness. Haven Health provides highly skilled nurses available on a 24 hour basis, as well as the latest medical equipment and supplies to ensure a comfortable and tranquil recovery that is simply unattainable in a hospital setting

If you are the victim of a hate crime, there is help available for you. Call the confidential Hate Crimes Response Line at (562) 433-8595 and leave a message. You will receive assistance with resources and support.

The City will vigorously fight criminal activity known as hate
crimes with all resources at its disposal.”
