The Gay and Lesbian Center's Health Education Action Team (HEAT) is committed to advancing the health of the LGBTQ community in Long Beach, through the provision of accurate, timely and objective information, and by taking action to advocate for and empower our community.

HEAT is available to guide you through the myriads of health information that may seem confusing or conflicting. We strive to provide concise, reliable information so you can make informed choices in your own best interests.
