BDSM Workshop: Mummification
Thursday September 11, 2014
w/ Alan Stroik
Discover the feel of giving up complete control of your body. Imagine yourself unable to move your legs and arms as they are wrapped in plastic and duct tape. The anticipation and the sense of arousal and excitement is heightened when you cannot move, escape or resist whatever happens next. Learn how to mummify or be mummified. See other alternatives to plastic wrap and duct tape. Mummification can be head to toe, neck down, total immobility, or each limb can be wrapped separately. Learn warning signs to watch out for, how tight is too tight, and parts of the body that require extra safety precautions when mummifying. As a means to an end or as a scene in itself, mummification opens the doors to many levels of bondage, BDSM play and dominance and submission.

Steampunk Theater Company Presents: Songs for a New World
Saturday, September 27, 2014
Join us in attending Songs for a New World, a musical by Jason Robert Brown, presented as a benefit for the LGBTQ Center of Long Beach. The show’s concept is about a collection of songs that tell a series of stories through an arc, rather than a continual and developing plot running throughout. Each song transports us through our American identity, our community, and our desires. Propelling the journey are our amazing ensemble featuring Dyan Hobday, Michelle Jones, Owen Lovejoy, Caron Lowe, Emily McKibben and David Ponce.
It’s time to start gearing up for this year’s Long Beach AIDS Ride (LBAR)! Registration is now open and can be foundHere.
