Day of Decision Long Beach

As the Supreme Court plans to issue a highly anticipated ruling on marriage equality, join the Greater Long Beach community outside City Hall in the Civic Center Plaza for a rally marking this historic ruling. This event is presented by The Long Beach Lambda Democratic Club, The LGBTQ Center of Long Beach, and Human Rights Campaign.
The Supreme Court is expected to rule on marriage equality between June 23 and June 30. The rally will take place no matter what the outcome. This event is entirely free and open to the public.
Leaders from the Long Beach LGBTQ community will open the rally along with local elected leaders who will be in attendance to share their thoughts on the impact of this unprecedented ruling and its nation-wide effect on LGBTQ couples. The offices of Long Beach Law will also present legal analysis describing the impact of this ruling on LGBTQ people locally and across the United States.
The rally will take place in the plaza at the Long Beach Civic Center just outside City Hall. Paid parking is available in the Civic Center lot accessible at Broadway and Cedar.
