Hate Crimes Support
The Center is committed to providing support and resources to all victims of hate crimes and bias incidents, irrespective of sexual orientation or gender identity. If you or someone you know has been the victim of a hate crime or bias incident The Center is here to help via our 24 hour hate crimes hotline. Please call the Mental Health Intake team at 562-434-4455 ext. 228 and leave a message. A hate crimes responder will return your call within 24 hours. If this is a life threatening emergency or if you require medical attention please call 911.
In addition, the City of Long Beach also offers support and assistance to victims of hate crimes through the Human Dignity Program. The Human Dignity Program offers a number of resources and maintains a response team to assist members of the community with hate crimes and conflict resolution and also employs a full time Human Dignity Program Coordinator to serve the community.

For individuals requiring further support, the Long Beach Trauma Recovery Center (LBTRC) offers a range of services, including mental health and case management for victims of crime and their families.
