The first step to protecting your health and the health of your partners is by getting tested and knowing your status. HIV testing is free, fast, and confidential at The Center. We all have our own reasons for getting tested for HIV. Share yours today at hivtest.cdc.gov/reasons.
Among all gay and bisexual men, those who were Latino accounted for an estimated 6,700 (22%) of new HIV infections in 2010. Anyone can become infected with HIV, and whether you test positive or negative for HIV, you can use that knowledge to take better care of yourself and your loved ones. Knowing your HIV status is important for overall health and well-being. Take action and share with others why you get tested and the importance of knowing your status.

Once upon a time there lived a strange, mathematical man named Alan M. Turing. He dreamed of robots, a boy named Christopher and poisoned apples. In its West Coast Premiere, based upon this brilliant man’s emotional life story, this theatrical crash of movement, music, and mathematics transports us into a world filled with calculations, living experiments, a talking daisy, and even Snow White. It is a magic tragedy, full of beauty, images exploding onstage, and a belief in love and truth above all else.
Alex and Gregg met Jacob through Kidsave’s Weekend Miracles Program in 2009. In 2012, their adoption was finalized. Jacob now has forever family. There are nearly 500 kids in the Los Angeles County foster care system who need a stable, permanent connection in their life. You can be part of the solution! The Kidsave Weekend Miracles Program provides older foster children (ages 9-17) with the opportunity to spend weekends with host families who help advocate for their adoption. Someone just like you is matched with a youth to become their weekend host. Hosts establish a relationship of Trust and Empathy with the youth, Advocate on their behalf, and Mentor the youth in academics, life skills and building self-confidence. All it takes is 2 weekend days a month for 1 year. For more information go to: www.kidsave.org, call Barbara Alvarado at 310-642-7283, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
