Senior Services Calendar May 2020
All of our groups are online for the month of May 2020. We meet using an application called RingCentral Meetings. The links to download the application are below. If you face any trouble, contact the Senior Services Coordinator for support.

Mindfulness Mondays – Every Monday 10:30am-11:30am
Relax and Stretch: This is a group open to anyone who is interested in starting their week more mindfully. Gentle stretches, breathing exercises, and mindfulness activities are what you can expect from this class.
Coffee E-Talk Tuesday – Every Tuesday from 11:00am-1:00pm
Stay Informed: This is a group that focuses on knowledge and information sharing. You can expect guest speakers who will talk about issues that are relevant to LGBTQ Older Adults in their everyday lives.
Watch Party Wednesday: Every other Wednesday from 11:30am-1:30pm
Watch and Chat: This is a group for those who would like to watch interesting and thought provoking films and videos and then discuss the themes involved. Grab the popcorn!
Talk it Out Thursdays – Every Thursday from 10:00am-11:15am
Free Flowing Chatting: This is a group open to anyone who would like to talk and socialize with others. There is less structure to this time, allowing us to really talk about whatever is on our minds and to share insights and ideas. You may find a special guest in attendance and sometimes the facilitator has a few activities to keep the conversation going.
Lez Chat – Every 2nd Saturday of the Month from 10-11:30 (special quarantine hours)
Social and Support Group: This is a group for female identifying LGBTQ Older Adults to meet and chat with each other. What you can expect from this group is a place where you can check in, discuss what’s on your mind, and get a lot of thoughtful feedback and support from others.
Encore Men – Special Pride month and quarantine hours.
Social and Support Group: This is a group for male identifying LGBTQ Older Adults to meet and chat with each other. What you can expect from this group is a place where you can check in, discuss what’s on your mind, and get a lot of thoughtful feedback and support from others.
Mindfulness Art Group (Closed Group): Every Last Saturday of the Month 11:00am-12:30pm
Create and Relax: This is a group for anyone who wants to incorporate more mindfulness practices into their life. This is not an art class and no artistic skills are required to participate. The medium used is an alcohol based ink and the end product allows for metaphors for life to be discussed.
