Tiffany Brown has worked in the Long Beach Unified School District for the past 24 years. Currently, she is the Assistant Superintendent of School Support Services, which combines the work of the Offices of Special Education and Student Support Services.
Tiffany is a School Psychologist by background and has served in the role of an administrator in the last decade. Her work related to schools has been on developing intervention systems that support all students learning and mental health needs. Most notably, Tiffany has led the School Based Mental Health Collaborative which joins the work of the Department of Mental Health, the LBUSD, and eight community mental health agencies. This collaborative has helped to remove some of the barriers that families experience in accessing mental health services by providing them in the school setting.
While Tiffany holds great value in the education of all students, she has had particular career focus on providing advocacy and a voice for underserved populations.
